A distinctive bracelet from the A. Leondarakis collection that features a great amount of craftsmanship.
By employing an ancient Assyrian jewelry technique the solid 18K gold snake-like decorations have been incorporated into the solid 925 sterling silver bracelet. Each decoration is cut by hand from a solid gold plate and is then processed and integrated to the bracelet.
Only experienced craftsmen can employ this technique and seldom do so since it is time consuming and difficult. However, the end result with its stunning appearance makes it worthwhile. The gold elements seem to nestle on the surface while their polished gold finish beautifully contrasts the “rough” oxidized like surface of the bracelet.
The bracelet is handmade by two parts connected on one side by a sturdy hinge and safely locked by a pin and chain on the other. The pin and chain add to the bracelet’s appearance and were commonly used in jewelry found in ancient Greece.
The bracelet is discreetly stamped on the inside with the A. Leondarakis Lion’s Head Trademark, the metal fineness stamp and the Workshop code ΩΙ34.
It will be sent to you in a presentation box for you to keep or present as a gift.
