Cretan Lyra Brooch
A lovely brooch from the A. Leondarakis jeweler’s collection that is a representation of the musical instrument central to the traditional music of Crete, the three-stringed bowed Lyra.
The lyra brooch is handmade from solid sterling silver while the strings are handmade from solid K18 gold. The brooch has an oxidized like surface (by reticulation) that beautifully contrasts the polished strings.
The brooch is stamped on the back with the metal fineness stamp and the Workshop code ΩΙ34.
The brooch can also be worn as a pendant.
