Description
An exceptional necklace from the A. Leondarakis jeweler’s collection made from solid sterling silver and 18K Gold that features a lovely cultured pearl.
The necklace design was influenced by the Lacedaimonian hoplites shield and helmet design. The pendant’s lower part has an oxidized like surface (by reticulation) made from solid sterling silver while melted 18K gold has been incorporated with a special technique used by only a few skilled craftsmen. This technique ensures that the gold will not fade by time and that as the silver darkens by age the gold will be further highlighted.
On the pendants upper part a series of polished sterling silver lines beautifully engulf a cultured pearl set in 18K gold. On the sides silver rays further decorate the pendant. The pendant hangs freely from the elegant interwoven sterling silver chain.
The necklace carries the metal fineness stamp, the Workshop code ΩΙ34 and the ELKA quality hallmark (Hellenic Silver and Goldsmith Center).
It will be sent to you in a fine presentation box for you to keep or present as a gift. This unique piece of art will be an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
